CHEF’S TIPS
Simply serve with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream garnished with fresh berries.
PREPARATION
Microwave Oven (1000 watts) heat from frozen 1 cake at a time:
1)Remove the plastic film from the cake still in the cup. 2) Turn the cake with the cup upside down on a microwave-safe plate. Loosen the cake inside the cup by applying pressure to the centre of the cup with thumbs while holding the edges of the cup. Do not remove the cup. 3) Heat on high for 50-60 seconds. 4) Carefully remove the cup and allow the cake to rest for 1-2 minutes.
Conventional Oven (heat from frozen):
1)Preheat oven to 400F (205C). 2) Remove the plastic film and place the cake in its cup, cake side up, on a baking sheet. 3) Heat for 15 – 18 minutes. 4) Let the cake stand for 1 – 2 minutes. Invert the cake on the serving plate and serve.
